    This article is fascinating to me. The stone structures themselves and the fact that their purpose holds only mystery has me very curious to perhaps do my own research and try to figure it out for myself. But the very fact that this is proof of evolution, and gives us insight into Neanderthals also holds my fancy. I’d love to know why they dared to go so far back into a darkened cave for the sake of these stone arrangements. Another fascinating reason on why art/art history is so important.

    Its amazing how this structure remained untouched well over 100,000 years. It is crazy to think of all the potential treasures that are just waiting to be discovered. I feel that neanderthals did create this structure, for why would other creatures go to such a length. I am interested to read more to find researchers theories about why the neanderthals created such a structure.
